电缆桥架表面的防腐层主要分为：镀锌镍、冷镀锌、热浸锌、粉末静电喷涂等方式。镀锌镍工艺寿命不小于30年，造价高，也适用于室外重腐蚀环境;冷镀锌工艺寿命不小于12年，造价一般，适用于室外轻腐蚀环境;而热浸锌工艺寿命不小于40年，造价高，适用于室外重腐蚀环境;粉末静电喷涂工艺寿命不小于12年，一般，比较适用于室内常温干燥环境。所以，设计人员会根据工程环境条件等情况，来合理的选择电缆桥架表面的防腐层类别，并在会清晰地表达在设计文件中。
